Be Mine

Valentine’s Day is all about romance and making the woman in your life feel special. I always found it odd that different women like different things as gifts.

Some women love flowers – others hate them because they die so quickly. Some women love chocolates and others hate chocolate for making them fat. It can be hard to find the right gift for your sweetheart and know that she really likes it.

Shampoo

Read an article about salon shampoos are an expensive ripoff because you can buy good shampoo right at the grocery store or WalMart for just a few dollars. The salon shampoos cost as much as $20 for the same size bottle as I got on sale at Food Lion for 79 cents.

I am going to the read the sale brochures that come in the Sunday newspaper and see who has shampoo on sale this week. I see no point in spending a lot of money on shampoo, especially guys like me who have short hair and there’s not that much to wash anyway.

Ban Joggers

I’m about sick of all these people running through my neighborhood. They claim to be jogging. I say they are causing problems for the cars who should rightfully be driving the road unencumbered. If these people don’t stay on the sidewalks and out of the streets, they should get a ticket.

Thank Goodness for Nyquil

Something bad is in the air. I can’t breathe and don’t know if I suddenly have an allergy to ragweed or goldenrod. Those are the two weeds that I see on the side of the road. I tried an over the counter allergy medicine and got no relief at all. So I’m back to my old stand-by, Nyquil. It tastes awful but the stuff lets me breath.

Sweet Tea

Have you noticed how many new brands and bottles of tea are now being sold in the grocery stores? There is sweet tea, tea with lemon, tea with other fruit flavors, diet tea, sugar free tea, green tea, black tea, red tea. It’s overwhelming.
